to the build site for my 1965 Shelby Cobra replica
have been in love with the Shelby Cobra since I was 7 years old. My father
picked up a used model at some swap meet we stopped by on the way home
one day, and have been bitten ever since.
Construction is completed, and
took 5 1/2 months to finish during the summer of 2004...
The engine is a bone stock 302 from a 1992 Ford Mustang LX convertable
with all smog equipment removed and custom 4 into 4 type headers with glass packs.
The rear suspension is FFR's 3-link design, and the front is independant with fully adjustable upper A-arms and coil overs on all four corners.
I decided to do all the body work and paint myself (what a chore!)
It is painted exclusively with HOK brand paints including the chrome yellow base, gold prism pearl and 9 coats of clear.
